ABOUT

The focus of this micro-conference (maximum of 20 churches attending) is to explore the principles and specific elements that comprise Grace Church’s discipleship model. These are hard-earned lessons that God has taught us over the last 20+ years. Our goals for our time together include:

 

  • Helping you build a sustainable, dynamic culture of discipleship
  • Showing the value of multiple teaching voices
  • Equipping you to develop a powerful leadership culture
  • Demonstrating the viability of multiple congregations
  • Equipping you to move forward with multiple congregations using Grace’s model of discipleship

$50 per attendee ($150 for groups of 3-5)

FORMAT

General Sessions will cover the most important aspects of building and sustaining a discipleship culture.  Each session is designed to provide teaching, training, and practical wisdom to help your team access and improve your current discipleship model.

BREAK OUT

SESSIONS

You will be able to choose an area of particular interest to you for your breakout sessions. This will allow different members of your team to interact with ideas most applicable to their current ministry situation.

Intentional Discipleship Focus

 

Topics include:

  • Developing clear discipleship pathways
  • Establishing expectations for members and volunteers
  • Creating and sustaining a pastoral model that promotes life change through biblical community
  • Teaching a theology of manhood and womanhood

Multiple Congregations Focus

 

Topics include:

  • Leveraging multiple teaching voices
  • Exploring the benefits of recorded video teaching
  • Defining the role of the campus pastor
  • Worship that is responsive and not attractional

Leadership / Organizational Culture Focus

 

Topics include:

  • Communicating vision and mission creatively
  • Developing honesty in leadership culture
  • Creating a bias toward action
  • Delineating between tensions and problems
  • Understanding the role that central services play in campus development

REGISTRATION

$50 per attendee
